This morning free practice saw five drivers improving Kevin Estre’s FP2 fastest lap in Hypercar and two drivers improving LMGT3 FP2 Thursday benchmark.

Estre was fastest of Thursday practices. 4 manufacturers are represented in the top 4 with the second Porsche in P5.

After two races, the FIA WEC Manufacturers Championship ranking splits the 8 title contenders in two “leagues” where Ferrari, BMW and Toyota count more than 50 points and the others less than 16 points.

Cairoli still on top of combined practices

Matteo Cairoli in Iron Lynx – Proton’s #9 ORECA 07 Gibson topped the times in the first practice session at Le Castellet with only Pietro Fittipaldi able to lap within one second from Cairoli’s benchmark.
